  • Dr. James Stephenson D.C.

    Dr. James Stephenson D.C. Is a chiropractor who works with patients from all walks of life to provide natural sustainable pain relief and preventive care. Dr. Stephenson believes that the answer to many sources of chronic pain lies in a multidisciplinary approach to health care combining active therapy, chiropractic care and traditional medicine which helps the body to function at its maximum potential. Dr. Stephenson has been in practice for over 20 years and in that time has gathered the respect of his patient's and community by providing exceptional care to treat ailments such as work injuries, sports injuries, arthritis, scoliosis and many others. 

    Earlier in his life Dr. Stephenson competed In wrestling, track, and karate. One day while working for a distribution company he injured his back lifting a heavy object and could not straighten up. It was determined he had herniated a disc in his low back. It was this experience combined with the relief from the chiropractic care he received that altered his life and convinced him that chiropractic was his calling. 

    Dr. Stephenson D.C. holds his chiropractic degree from Parker University In Dallas Texas. After graduation he began working in Dallas, Tx. to help people like himself who needed an alternative to alleviate their pain. He has many years of experience working within a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure patients receive the fastest relief possible. 

    In his spare time James is an avid sports fan and animal lover, He was born In Pittsburgh Pennsylvania so is a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and he loves spending time with his two dogs Ozzie and Bowie. 

  • Dr. Koolman

    Dr. Koolman's path to Franklin Chiropractic is truly unique. He was raised in the Caribbean Islands and when he was just graduating from high school his mother was involved in a serious automobile accident. Due to the neck injury that she sustained in the accident, she sought medical care in the US. It was while receiving chiropractic treatments that made her respect and admire the profession, especially since it was nonsurgical and involved no drugs. She shared this enthusiasm with her son. Dr. Koolman then entered his profession with his personal desire to enrich the lives of others, graduating from Texas Chiropractic College in 1990. This desire to help others is from thorough chiropractic care, which is broadly known to be a drug-free and nonsurgical form of treatment. Dr. Koolman loves learning about other cultures, especially their music, loves sports and travel. He is also fluent in 4 languages. 

  • James Daniel

    James Daniel Soto graduated in August of 1998 from the San Antonio location of the Austin School of Massage Therapy. In October, James passed the Texas State License Exam and began working on clients for sports massage part time and continues to study art and advanced massage methods. 

    In 2008, James started full time with Massage Heights and in 2010, accepted a Lead Therapist position. In 2012, James joined Elements Massage. In January of 2016, James joined Franklin Chiropractic Clinic. In 2019, James left Elements and continues to work at the Integrated Health Care location. Having studied and practiced Shiatsu since 1985, James continues to add Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitated stretching, Advanced Migraine Headache, Muscle Tendon and Active Muscle stretching methods. James applies the same unique philosophy of his art by blending Eastern and Western science with the art of massage to restore and maintain optimum health.
