When I was in high school I found that after a day of weight lifting I could no longer lift my right leg. Any attempt to move or lift it shot pain all the way down to my foot. I thought that the pain would pass with time but the problem persisted and finally on the 3rd day I sought help. I was taken to a local chiropractor who examined me and explained that my sciatic nerve, a nerve that runs from your hip down your leg, was being pinched. He gave me an adjustment and the pain immediately left. This sparked my interest in the chiropractic adjustment. Over the next few years as I met other chiropractors and each had a positive impact on my life, I decided that this was the profession for me.
My Education
I graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in
Exercise Science, and then continued my education at Parker University
in Dallas, Texas. At Parker I completed an additional Bachelor of
Science degree in Health and Wellness as well as the Doctor of
Chiropractic. I also did post-doctoral studies with the International
Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
My Passion
Connecting people to their passion and purpose through the full
expression of their health is the driving force in my heart. From a
newborn baby to someone mature in years, I can’t wait to teach about and
deliver the chiropractic adjustment. I remember every day when I go to
work that I have the chance to be a positive impact on someone’s life
and health.
My Life
I have been happily married to April Palmer since February 2008, and we
have two young, rambunctious sons Walker and Benson. I love spending
time with my family, taking my wife on dates, and being active.
I served a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints in Torreon Mexico. During my service to the Lord and the Mexican
people I learned Spanish and fell in love with the Mexican people.
